Ciao, Linus!

Linus is an esteemed Italian comics magazine that publishes Italian cartoonists & writers as well as international strips & features. This is the cover of the newest issue, in which Alice Otterloop makes her debutto. And, oh boy, my friend Max Olla of Balloons Blog has sent me some copies so I can enjoy the comic antics of the Otterloops in the language of Dante, especially if they go to Hell. I can't wait to see the magazine, though I'm warned that the Italian mail can be slow. If I start now, maybe I'll have mastered Italian by the time they get here and I'll understand all the jokes.

Everybody is gonna fall in love with the Otterloop here in Italy.

My best wishes, hope we'll be reading Cul de Sac for 1.000 issues of Linus.

Hey Richard, I don't have your email address, so I'll let you know here, you may already know, but there's an awesome Oliphant exhibit in town this month! You have to look hard to find the gallery, but it's on Connecticut Ave. near Woodley/Zoo area in the Stanford-in-Washington art gallery.

So, have you heard about the new Oliphant exhibit? Everyone's talking about it. And talking about it. And talking about it.

Ciao Richard!

Ciao Max & Gianfranco! Thanks for your support!

David! How's it going? I can't find your email either; click on the "complete profile" thing on the upper right on the blog then follow the email link for mine. And yes, I've seen the Oliphant show.

Rob, I've only seen it once, and it's definitely worth at least three visits. So let's say it one more time!

Professor, grazie, and my regards to Alessandra.

Finally, an explanation for this. I thought Linus had his own comic!

Don't be too worried about italian mailservices ... may be you have the chance to get something weird that was not addressed to you! :-)

Traditionally in Italy, every little kid strip is name Linus after the translation of Little Linus in Slumberland. So 'Cul de Sac' is the new 'Linus' now. Linus is dead; Long live Linus!
