Two Ancient Cul de Sacs

From July 2004, when all the animals could talk and I didn't know what I was doing. Snakehead fish were popular that year.

I like the acting in these strips. Each panel looks different, even though the camera angle never changes.

Oh what I would give to have all these pre-Cul de Sac collected in a book. Hint hint. Oh and "Hint".

Ah, sweet memories of the snakefish controversy. What ever happened with those guys, anyway? Weren't they suppose to enslave and eat all the native fish or something?

Agreed about the acting. Second panel of the second comic is hilarious. Alice's rage at all those animals crowding her pool...terrific.

I second the double hint made above by H.V. Lukas. If you didn't know what you where doing, I hope you never will :)

Richard, just read the announcement in the Post. I grieve that Alice's adventures are coming to an end, but I grieve more that a genius is being deprived by illness of sharing that genius with the rest of us. Thank you for everything you've written and drawn. I hope that, between new treatments and the elimination of a stressful schedule, your condition improves or at least slows. I miss you already. BE WELL, and check in with us here every now and then if you're up to it, okay?
